What Do You Want?

When you are unclear about what you want – how you want to spend your time, what kind of career would bring you the greatest satisfaction, how much money you want to earn –  you spend a whole lot of time existing in a situation that does not serve you.

Unfortunately, we sometimes become so frustrated that we allow our circumstances to distract us from becoming the powerful beings that lie dormant within us. Years ago, when I was living beneath my potential, I abandoned my “pleasing personality”. A friend said to me, “Hopie, what’s wrong’? ‘I don’t like that you are sad”! I told her to get used to it because sad was going to be my mood for a while. You see, I felt hopeless because I did not know how to navigate out of my situation.

What I eventually came to realize was that I couldn’t navigate out because I did not know what I truly wanted. I needed to get clear, and when I did that, I could identify actions…small actions…that I could take to change my situation. Getting clear creates movement, and the clearer you get, the less time you remain stagnant. Clarity leads you to take action which leads to the next action and so on and so forth resulting in you creating movement toward your ideal life. The clarity that I gained, gave me hope in my future and I know getting clear will do the same for you!
